Funeral services for Mrs. Sandra Pooler Whipple, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, December 5, 2019, at the Church of Jesus Christ Full Gospel, 759 Vernon Woodard Road in East Dublin. Pastor Peggy G. Sapp will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Mitchell Grove Baptist Cemetery.

On June 2, 1962, she was born as Sandra Pooler to Willie Joseph "Bill" Pooler and Mildred Elvine Pooler. Mrs. Whipple retired from Dublin City Schools after 30 years of service at Johnson Street School, Saxon Heights Elementary School, and at Hillcrest Elementary School. She faithfully attended the Church of Jesus Christ Full Gospel in East Dublin. She was called home on November 30, 2019. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Joan Pooler, Lillian "Kitty" Pooler, and by her brothers, Earl Pooler, and Willie "Scooter" Woods.

Mrs. Whipple leaves behind her husband, Donald Whipple, two daughters, Shantel and Shelsea Whipple, two grandchildren, Joseph "J. J." and Joel Burch and one on the way, Brooklyn O'Neal, sister, Velteen (Larry) Gardner, brothers, Andrew (Yvone) Pooler, Freddie (Calen) Pooler, Darryl "Duke" (Susan) Pooler, brother-in-law, Arthur McClain, sisters-in-law, Angie Pooler and Florine Mack Woods, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
