Funeral services for Reverend Samuel Franklin Rozier, Sr., of Dublin will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at 1 PM at the Saint Peters Baptist Church, 912 Martin Luther King, Jr., Drive in Dublin. Overseer Elgin Dixon will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Reverend Rozier was born on October 30, 1964, to the late, Elnora Dudley White-Rozier and Roosevelt Cooper Rozier in South Bend, Indiana. He departed his life on November 4, 2017. He attended the Dublin City School Systems. He was ordained as a minister at a tender young age of sixteen. He continued forward in ministering until his transition. He was dedicated to the ministry of music, praise and worship and his family. He wrote many songs and had them recorded. His most recent song and favorite song was "Down the Line".

His church family was very precious to him.

He was preceded in death by a son, Isaac Rozier.

Reverend Rozier is survived by a sister, Laura Rozier, brother, Roosevelt D. Rozier; children, Zacchaeus Rozier, Samuel Rozier, Jr., and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family is receiving friends at the home of his sister, Laura Rozier, 1015 Martin Luther King, Jr., Drive, Building 10 Apartment 2, Dublin and at the home of his cousin, David Gabble, 116 Duncan Street in Dublin.
