Samuel Green

Funeral services for Mr. Samuel D. Green, Sr., of Dublin, will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019, at 2 PM at the Christ Deliverance Temple, 403 East Garner Street, Dublin. Apostle James Bell will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Samuel D. Green, Sr., was born on March 13, 1961, to the late Elizabeth Christian and Samuel D. Green, Sr. Mr. Green resided in Detroit, Michigan, for a number of years, and was employed by Hi-Tek Rations Company, and for Ansco, until his health began to fail. He enjoyed playing spades, dominoes, and making people laugh. His favorite quote was, "What do you know?" He was called home on July 13, 2019. He was preceded in death by his brother, Willie "Bootsie" Christian, and by a sister, Brownie Walker Green.

Mr. Green leaves to cherish his memories his daughters, Jacquelyn Holsey, Latonya Hampton, and Aaliyah Green, two sons, Shedrick Floyd, and Danvonta Green, all of Dublin, seven grandchildren, Netanya Kellam, of Albany, Georgia, Malik Kellam of Atlanta, Amariauna Armstrong, Akeylah Amstrong, Creuntae Floyd, Jeremiah Floyd, and De"Monta Green, all of Dublin, three sisters, Patricia Rozier, of Dublin, Daisey (Robert) Cherry of Detroit, Michigan, Minnie Lee (Daniel) Rozier of Dublin, Diane (Errol) Cumming of Fort Myers, Florida, Willamena Carnell, and Jeanell Roberson of Miami, Florida, brothers, Ronald (Wanda) Christian, Willie (Rose) Green, Billy (Julia) Hazley, Tony Green, Tim (Jackie) Green, all of Dublin, Samuel L. Green, Jr., of Miami, Florida, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
