Sammie Pryor
A celebration of life for Mr. Sammie Lee Pryor of Dudley, Georgia, will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at 11 AM at the Rose Hill Baptist Church, US Highway 80 West, Dudley, Georgia. Reverend Earnest Pryor will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the New Vision Church Cemetery.
Mr. Pryor was born to the union of the late Deacon Lee Jordan Pryor and Ida Mae Godfrey Pryor on October 26 ,1962. He graduated from West Laurens High School. At an early age, Mr. Pryor joined the Byrd Hill Baptist Church. He was employed with the YKK AP America Incorporated for thirteen years. Mr. Pryor was a self taught mechanic with a love for farming. He was effectionately known for his warm and gentle spirit.
Left to cherish his memories are his three children, sons, Sammie Lee Tilman of Cochran, Georgia, Jermaine Tilman of the United States Navy, one daughter, Beyonka Jenkins of Empire, Georgia, two grandchildren, Aniyah Jenkins, and Talaysia Jenkins of Empire, Georgia, a devoted friend, Quenette Tilman of Cochran, Georgia, three brothers, Johnnie Lee (Gladys) Pryor, June Pryor of Macon, Georgia, Nehemiah (Jeanna) Pryor of Waldorf, Maryland, Ernest (Rosa) Pryor of Dublin, Georgia, three sisters, Rosa Mae (Nesbert) English, Margie Pryor of Dudley, Georgia, Lou Ethel (Willie) Knowles of Dublin, Georgia, a devoted uncle, Robert W. Pryor of Macon, Georgia, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and friends.
The family is receiving friends at 2269 Old Hawkinsville Road, Dudley.
