Funeral Services for Mr. Sammie Lee Bell, of Dublin, will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2019, at 1 PM at the C.D. Dudley Memorial Chapel of the Dudley Funeral Home, 617 East Jackson Street, Dublin. Minister Debra Newkirk will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Sammie Lee Bell was born on January 22, 1950 to the late Andrew and Doretha Bell. He was a resident of Dublin and a graduate of Oconee High School. He was employed with Bassett for many years until it closed. He was a member of Howard Chapel United Methodist Church. He was employed
with Bassett Furniture for many years until he medically retired. On Monday, May 13, 2019, he departed this life at Serenity Hospice Care. Mr. Bell is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Doretha Bell; grandparents, Marie Maddox and Vera Maddox; sisters, Nancy Smith and Annie Pearl Bell Clay; and niece, Nicole Bell. Mr. Bell leaves to cherish his fond memories his wife, Carrie Bell of Dublin; son, Travis (Sheree) Bell of Macon; daughter,
Sonja Bell of Dublin; brother, Andrew Bell, Jr. of Dublin; aunts, Helen Coney of Dublin, Sammie Jewel Davis of Oakland, California; grandchildren, Antonio Bell, Samuel Bell and Travis Bell, Jr. all of Dublin, Jamere Bell of Macon, granddaughters, Janera Bell of East Dublin, and Heavenly Ann Bell of Macon; sisters-in-law, Susie M. Tucker, Catherine Davis both of Dublin, Judy (Jamie) Graves, Hallandale, Florida, Clara Boyer, Adamstown, Maryland; brothers-in-law, Lonnie (Brenda) Carswell, Carl Carswell of Dublin, Albert Carswell, Miami, Florida, Johnny Charles, Lorain, Ohio; devoted cousin, Fred O’Neal; devoted friend, Robert Mobley; caretakers, Laura Ann Moye, Sheretta Ellington, Joy Smith and Chasity Blue, and all the staff members of Serenity Hospital
Care and Fairview Park Hospital, 3rd floor; case manager, Carol Edwards, special nieces, Gloria Boyer, Lucretia Clay; nephew, Donnie Carswell; four great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends to include Oconee High School Alumni.

The family is receiving friends at 207 Plum Street in Dublin.
