Funeral services for Mr. Russell Edmond, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at 11 AM at the Everlasting Gospel Non Denominational Holiness Church, 1300 South Jefferson Street in Dublin. Bishop Harrison Jones will officiate. Interment will follow in the Pearson Cemetery.

Mr. Russell Edmond was born on August 17, 1954, to the late Mr. Arthur “C. Bud” and Marie Edmond. He attended West Laurens High School in the first graduating class. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He later moved to Miami, Florida, and worked for Allied Transportation until he moved back to Dublin in 1999.

At a young age, he received Christ. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Rentz. He was preceded in death by a son, Tyrus Reed, and by five brothers, Pete, Larry, Rudolph, Lenell, and Robert Edmond.

Mr. Edmond is survived by his wife, Patricia Edmond, Dublin, GA, three children, Chaundra (Derick) Edmond, Eastman, J’nai (Brandon) Allen, Antwan Edmond both Kissimmee, Florida, three stepchildren, Brianda O’Neal, Soperton, Kenico O’Neal, Dublin, Zethan O’Neal also from Dublin, two sisters, Brenda (Tony) Hester, Betty (Rev. J.C.) Murray both of Dublin, one brother, Nell (Betty Jo) Issac of Lakeland, Florida, sisters-in-law, Bernice Edmond, Cynthia Edmond both of Miami, Florida, two aunts, Alberta Anderson, Miami, Florida, Justine O’Neal, Dublin, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews who he loved dearly and other close relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 126 Hilcrest Drive in Dublin.
