Smyrna – Mrs. Ruby N. Nichols, 85, of Smyrna passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at the Wayne T Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be at 4:00 PM Thursday, September 10, 2015 at New Zion United Methodist Church with the Rev. Monica Tilley and Rev. Shirley Brown officiating. The burial will be held at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 2 – 4 PM at New Zion United Methodist Church.
Ruby was the daughter of the late Clyde and Della Neelands Nichols. She was a lifelong member of New Zion United Methodist Church and was retired from York School District One as a bookkeeper. Ruby was the widow of James Henry Nichols.
She is survived by her son Kenny Nichols of Smyrna, granddaughter Kayna Nichols, and sister Colene Wilkins of Smyrna.
