Funeral services for Mrs. Rosie Mae Rozier Jones, 87, of Montrose, Georgia, will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at the Greater Union Grove Church of God in Christ, 4780 US-80 in Montrose, Georgia. Reverend Wilbert Kennedy will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Born on March 12, 1932, Rosie Mae Rozier was the daughter of Bubba and Julia Rozier of Dublin. She received her education in the Laurens County School System. She was married to the late Ernest Jones. Mrs. Jones was employed for many years as a food service employee with the Claxton Hospital, Laurens Memorial Hospital and at Fairview Park Hospital where she retired at age 62. Mrs. Jones was a longtime member of the Greater Union Grove COGIC where she was a member of the Senior Choir. She passed away on August 8, 2019.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, Bubba and Julia Rozier, by her husband, Ernest Jones, by two brothers, Nathaniel Rozier, and Leodis Rozier, by two sisters, Sybil Lee Judon, and Ruby Lowther, and by her son, Ernest Quinton Jones.

Mrs. Jones leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Beverly Ann Wilson and Betty Jean Pittman of Dublin, Angela (Micheal) Wright of Montrose, one son, Torrance (Tabatha) Jones of Dublin, one brother, Herschel (Corine) Rozier of Dublin, one brother-in-law, Lennis (Claudia) Jones of Montrose, three sisters-in-law, Juanita Campbell and Betty Eady of Miami, Florida, and Hetty Sue Knight of Macon, fourteen grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
