Funeral Service for 92 year old Ms. Rosie Lee Earls of Clarksville, Texas who went to be with her Lord Saturday, June 2, 2018, in Paris Regional Medical Center, Paris, TX, will be Saturday, June 9, 2018 @ 11:00 a.m. at Citizens Funeral Home Chapel, 500 E. Church St., Clarksville, TX with Dr. L.E. Cole eulogist, Rev. Andre O. Burton, officiating.
Interment in Mount Olive Cemetery, Clarksville, Texas

Rosie Lee Woods Earls was born on November 10, 1925 in Red River County to the parentage of Scott Woods and Addie Roberts.
She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Bryarly Baptist Church until they closed. Upon closure she united with Mt. Olive Baptist Church in the Acworth Community of Clarksville, TX. She was the mother of the church and remained a faithful member until her health failed and could no longer attend.
She also attended school in the Acworth Community.
Rosie Woods met and married Earnest Earls, to this union 6 children were born.
Rosie “Muh” loved canning, sewing, fishing, gardening, hunting, dipping snuff, drinking a cold Coca Cola, and eating hamburgers. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and didn’t mind telling everyone what was on her mind including “You sure are getting large”.
Rosie Earls is proceeded in death by her parents; Scott Woods and Addie Roberts, Husband; Earnest Earls, Sons; Oscar Earls, Herman Earls, Thurman Earls, and Manuel Earls, Brothers; James Henderson, Raymond Woods, Cledell Woods, Curtis Woods, Carl Huff; sister Willia Mae Taylor
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her daughters; Dollie Lewis of Clarksville, TX and Addie “Lucy” Webb of Paris, TX, adopted children; Dennis Woods and Darlene Woods of Clarksville, TX, 2 sisters, Willie Moore (Williams) of Clarksville, TX, and Velma Griffins of McKinney, TX, 18 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
