Funeral services for Mrs. Rosetta Thompson Anderson, of Dublin, will be held on Monday, August 11, 2014, at 11 AM at the Green Grove Baptist Church, 2418 Highway 441 South in Dublin. Reverend Milton Hughes will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Anderson, who passed on August 4, 2014, was born on October 1, 1926, in Sandersville, Georgia, to the late Mamie Thompson Dudley and Reverend Willie Thompson.

She worked for twenty years at Claxton and Fairview Park Hospitals as a housekeeper before she retired. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Anderson; a son, John Anderson and a brother, Grady Thompson.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by her daughters, Lora Anderson, Margaret (Raymond) Collins, Lynn (James) Goodson; sons, Lonnie (Mary) Thompson, Tommie (Betty) Anderson, Donald Anderson, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren; one sister, Millie Reeves and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter Laura Anderson, 508 Marcus Street in Dublin.
