Rollie Eady
Funeral services for Mr. Rollie Ivory Eady, Sr., of Montrose, will be held on Friday, June 21, at 1:00 PM at the Greater Union Grove Church of God in Christ. Mr. Eady, who passed on June 16, was born to the late Willie and Ruby Eady on March 17, 1927, in Telfair County as the second of ten children. In the 1950s, he moved to Montrose where he met and married his loving wife.
Mr. Eady leaves behind his loving wife, Annie Pearl Ivory of Montrose; ten children, Verlene Bennett of Atlanta, Johnny (Sharon) Ashley of Miami, Florida, Lillie (William) Smith of Dublin, Lewis (Sue) Mack of Detroit, Michigan, Bobby Ivory of Montrose, Rollie (Deborah) Ivory, Jr. of Montrose, Alice (Leporia) Logan of Chicago, Illinois, Billy Ivory of Montrose, Peggy (James) Dicks of Montrose and Darlene Ivory of Dublin. Mr. Eady is also survived by forty grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, great-great as well as nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at 828 First Rehoboth Baptist Church Road, Montrose, and at the Dudley Funeral Home on Thursday from 6-7 PM.
