Rocky Brown

Funeral services for Mr. Rocky M. Brown, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at 2 PM at God's Divine Vision Ministry, Incorporated, 600 Telfair Street, Dublin. Pastor Ada Bell Bailey will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Brown was born on July 23, 1955, to the late Mr. Henry Lewis Brown and Mrs. Mollie Mae Stanley Brown. He was the youngest of ten siblings. He was educated in the Laurens County Schools, and later joined the United States Army. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Mr. Joe Nathan Brown, Sr., Mr. Henry Walker, Mrs. Lou Selma Scrutchins, and Mrs. Johnny Mae Williams Pearson. Mr. Brown passed away on May 12, 2018.

He leaves to cherish memories of his gregarious personality his children, Letitia Brown of Atlanta, Amelia Brown, Nastassja Brown of Dublin, Ricardo O'Neal, Lourosa Brown of Dublin, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three stepchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Calen (Freddie) Pooler, of Dublin, Mrs. Pauline (Alvin) Thomas of Milledgeville, one sister-in-law, Mrs. Patricia Brown, of Dublin, and a host of other relatives and friends, including Ms. Ruby Denson, good friend and sidekick, Mr. Henry Lindsey. Mr. Brown was a friend, uncle, and entertainer to all of his nephews that enjoyed his company and his embellished fishing stories. He will be sadly missed by P. J., Binky, Smooky, Porky, Ken, Jamey, Maynard, Knatt and Man.

The family is receiving friends at 117 Circle Drive, East Dublin.
