Subject: Funeral Announcement - WILLIAMS Robert Lee III

Funeral services for Mr. Robert Lee Williams, Ill, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Second African Baptist Church, 800 North Decatur Street in Dublin. Reverend Korie Baker will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Robert L. Williams was born on November 5, 1963 to the late Robert Lee Williams, Jr., and the late Ruby Dell Williams. He was a graduate of Dublin High School and a member of the football team, and a member of the band. He attended Georgia Southern University and was a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. Mr. Williams served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1985. He worked for a combination of 15 years at Parker Aerospace and at Fred's Distribution Center until his health declined.”, He was a dedicated father and friend. He was known as “Pumpkin” to his friends. His lively and boisterous attitude made him the life of the party. Mr. Williams passed away on November 12, 2019. He was preceded in death by his dedicated wife, Kimela Williams, and by his uncle, Willie Dee Spikes.

Mr. Williams leaves behind his daughters, Kierra Wright of Auburn, Alabama, Maranda Williams of Dublin, and Constance Williams of Dublin, a son, Cameron Williams of Dublin, sister, Nichole Lutrice Williams of Dublin, aunts, Rosemary (J. C.) Snell, Margie (Bobby) Blocker, Ethel (Bennie) Wright, Henrietta Hall, and Vivian Spikes, an uncle, David St. George, a loving grandmother, Ethel Spikes, and five grandchildren.

The family is receiving friends at 802 North Washington Street in Dublin on Thursday and Friday.
