Funeral services for Mr. Robert Lee Taylor, Sr., of Dublin, will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, August 15, 2019, at the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home. Robert and Thelma Taylor will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Robert Lee Taylor, Sr., was born on June 14,1939, to the late Mr. Lucille McBride. He worked faithfully at Engelhard Corporation in Irwinton for thirty-three and one-half years until he retired. He loved working on cars and talking with his grandchildren. He passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Ann Taylor, and by his son-in-law, Rickey Darrisaw.

He leaves his memories to his loving wife of 53 years, Dorothy Blocker-Taylor of Dublin, his daughters, Muriel Darrisaw of Dublin, Peggy (Nick) Walker of Byron, his sons, David (Synthia) Blocker of Dublin, Robert (Thelma) Taylor, Jr., of Dublin, James (Barbara) Taylor of Dublin, Reginald (Shirley) Taylor of Miami, Florida, and Ronald (Kimberly) Taylor of East Dublin, 18 grandchildren, and 43 great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, Donald (Delores) Blocker of Miami, Florida, and Harold (Gladys) Blocker of Nashville, Tennessee, sisters-in-law, Marie Holder of Dublin, Thelma Blocker of Newark, New Jersey, and Darlene Blocker of Antioch, Tennessee, a devoted cousin, JoAnn McBride of Dublin, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends who will miss him.
