Funeral services for Mr. Robert Lee Marion, of Dublin, will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at the Saint Peters Baptist Church, 912 Martin Luther King Brive, Dublin. Reverend Shawn Curtis will deliver the eulogy.

Mr. Robert Lee Marion was born on January 30, 1934. He led an eventful life that took him to many places. He began his working career in Dublin as a driver for Superior Cleaners, and as a machine operator for Dublin Courier Herald. In 1957, he moved to Rochester, New York, where he worked at the Rochester Bronze Aluminum Company for over twenty years. He retired from Peko Precision Products after eight years. He was a dedicated member of the traveling music group, "The Traveling Six". He truly enjoyed the game of baseball, and was a big New York Yankees fan. He loved peanut butter crackers and Billy Graham television ministries. He became a devoted member of the Saint Peters Baptist Church when he moved back to Dublin in 2014. Mr. Marion passed away on July 23, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ardrich Marion, Sr., his mothers, Minnie Lee Walker Marion and Lula Mae Marion, his brothers, Horace Marion and Ardrich Marion, Jr., and by his brother-in-law, Charles Stuckey.

Mr. Marion is survived by his siblings, Geneva Ferrell, Willie James (Arnita) Marion, Martha Mae Stuckey, Alice Marion, James Henry (Jackie) Marion, Juanita (Gary) Perry, Charles Marion, Ardrich (Ernest) Smith, all of Dublin, sister-in-law, Shirley Marion of Sanford, North Carolina, a devoted grandson, Patrick Williams, of New York, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, to cherish his memories.
