Funeral services for Mr. Robert Thomas "R. T." Lee will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016, at 11 AM at the Saint Paul AME Church, West Seventh Avenue in Glenwood, Georgia. Presiding Elder Harvey R. Williamson will officiate and Reverend Ludenia Coleman will present the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Telfair County.

Mr. Lee was a resident of Wheeler County for most of his life. He was the son of the late Charlie and the late Mary Etta Lee. He was a member of the Saint Paul AME Church where he served as a steward and as superintendent. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Anthony D. Lee, two sisters, Minnie Lee Nesbit and Juanita Hampton, and by three brothers, Louis G. Lee, Sr., Herman Lee, Otis D. Lee, Sr., and James Charles Lee, Sr.

Survivors include his wife, Reverend Gussie W. Lee of Glenwood, two daughters, Arlene L. Brown of Douglasville, and Terrie L. Pound of Glenwood, three grandchildren, Ashley T. Lee of Glenwood, Eric D. Brown Jr., and Andre’ D. Brown of Douglasville, special nephew, Rufus (Martha) Wiggins of Eastman, three sisters, Katherine (Richard) Rozier of Dublin, Celestine Lee of Glenwood, Ruby (Horace) Johnson of Glenwood, five brothers, Etheridge McRae of Mount Vernon, Joseph (Kim) Lee of San Antonio, Texas, Charlie Lee of Vidalia, Nathaniel Lee of Dublin, Theotis Lee of Glenwood, one aunt, Rebecca Lee of Dublin, two sisters-in-law, Jewel Lee and Lula Lee, both of Glenwood, and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

Mr. Lee will be placed in the church one hour prior to services for viewing.
