Robert (Bob) Lee Lalumondier passed peacefully surrounded by family on February 20, 2016, in Kansas City, Missouri, at the age of 76.

Visitation will be 1-3 pm Friday, February 26, 2016, at First Baptist Church, 303 S. Grove St, Kearney, MO 64060. Memorial Service to follow at 3pm at the church.

Bob leaves behind those who loved him; his wife Carol, children Greg, Gina (John), Jason (Carey); sister, Pat Sikes of Farmington Missouri, grandchildren, Noah, Taylor, Caitye and great-grandchild Emerie and more family and friends than can be counted. His father C.A. (Boss) and mother Virginia of Esther (Flat River) Missouri have gone on before him.

Bob was born on August 14, 1939, in Esther, Missouri. He graduated from Esther High School in 1957 and attended William Jewel College. He married Pat Baker and had 2 children, Greg and Gina. In 1980 he married Carol Clemons, his favorite waitress at Clem’s Cafe.

Bob was retired, but known for his affiliations and activities with multiple groups. Prior to retirement he was an accomplished insurance agent, owning and operating Lalumondier Insurance Agency in Kearney, Missouri, for a number of years. Moving from Kearney, where he considered himself a gentleman farmer, to Staley Farms, Bob became an avid golfer and upstanding member of Staley Farms Golf Club where he became affectionately known as the “Chairman of the Board”. He was a generous and witty individual who was quick with a smile. He was particularly proud of his nomination and membership as a Tennessee Squire of Jack Daniels Distillery.

On Thursday, February 25, 2016, at 6:30 pm to 9 pm, the family will receive guests at Staley Farms Club House, 10310 N Olive Ave, Kansas City, MO 64155. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bob’s life. A visitation is scheduled Friday, February 26, 2016, from 1 pm to 3 pm with a memorial service immediately following at Kearney First Baptist Church, 303 S Grove, Kearney, MO 64060.
