Rickie Kellam
Funeral services for Mr. Rickie Lanier Kellam, of Dublin, will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at 11 AM at the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home. Chief Apostle Shirley Parker will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.
Mr Kellam was born on August 8, 1955, to the late Maudell Hurst and W. C. Kellam. He attended B. D. Perry High School, and was employed with Bostic Construction until his health declined. To know Rickiie, was to love him. He passed away on May 17, 2019. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronnie Wilcher, Edward Charleston, a sister, Lillian Wright, a nephew Larry Strong, and a brother-in-law, Reuben Axson.
Mr. Kellam is survived by his children, Reginald Kellam, Ricketa (Michael) Carr, of Dublin, Kaywonna Roberts of Statesboro, and Clarissa Smith of Albany, Georgia, a sister, Linda Axson, two brothers Roy Kellam and Howard Phillips, all of Dublin, eleven grandchildren, Aliyah, Nia, Joshua, Keona Smith, all of Dublin, Imyrien, Sam'Meria, Ni'Shay, K'Heem, A'Dreion, Da'Mir, and Kor'Rie, all of Statesboro, nieces and nephews, Rashaun Axson, Ty Strong, Darrell Wright, Laura (Kydran) Reeves, and Latoya Jones, all of Dublin, Denise (Stanley) Cornelius of Atlanta, Michael (Diana)Wright of Chicago, Illinois, one great grandchild, Jada Smith, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
The family is receiving friends at 2246 Academy Avenue Extension, and 405 South Franklin Street, in Dublin.
