Interment will be in English Cemetery, Clarksville, TX, Bishop L.E. Cole Officiating.

Rickey McCoy Wooten was born to Johnny Leroy and Garlena Boyce Wooten, June 16, 1960 in Clarksville, Texas. He attended Avery Schools. He was married to Yolunda Brent Wooten.

He worked various jobs around the county. In 1996 he went to work for Red River County until October 2014. He became the Road Commissioner in November 2014. Rickey was the First African American Road Commissioner in Red River County.

He enjoyed horses, fishing and sitting under the tree. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
