Funeral services for Mr. Richard "Uncle Bunk" Ford, of East Dublin, will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at the Mount Green Baptist Church, 591 Manning Drive in East Dublin. Reverend Joe Shinhoster will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in church cemetery.

Mr. Ford was born in April 14, 1936, in Dublin, Georgia to the late Luther and Maggie Ford. He departed this life on November 15, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Ford; a daughter, Linda Ford; sons, Harold Ford, Tommy Lee Ford, Johnny B. Ford and Jeffery Ford.

He was a member of Mt. Green Baptist Church where he attended faithfully until his health began to fail.

Mr. Ford is survived by his sons, Jimmy Ford, Macon, Thomas (Liz) Ford Dublin, James Ford, East Dublin; daughters, Lesa McAdoo, East Dublin, Jackie Outley, Macon, Jelicia Ford, Dublin; stepson, Gerald May, Macon; sisters, Lee (Paul) Anderson, West Palm Beach, Florida, Lillian Bridges of Dublin; a very devoted companion, Nancy McNear and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at the home of his daughter, Lesa Ford McAdoo 1399 Highway 319 North, East Dublin.
