Funeral service for Rev. Elvis McGraw of Clarksville, TX, who went to be with his Lord April 2, 2021 in Clarksville, Texas will be Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Zion Traveler Baptist Church, 501 S Walnut St., Clarksville, TX with Rev. P.A.Porchia officiating. Interment will be in Haywood Cemetery, Clarksville, TX under the direction of Citizens Funeral Home, 500 E. Church St, Clarksville, TX. Public viewing will be Friday April 9, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Citizens Funeral Home Chapel.

Elvis B. McGraw was born to Sarah Dawson and the late Jessie Bell in McKinney, TX on September 11, 1962. Elvis attended Clarksville schools and graduated in 1981. Elvis grew up on 1159 in the Haywood community and was a member of Haywood Baptist Church.
In 1983 Elvis met Gaylynn Wooten and they were united together and had 2 daughters Rebecca and Brittani. Elvis took on the role of father early in his life by raising seven children with Gaylynn; where he was a proud father and husband. This was his life, especially being a Paw-Paw.
In the early 90’s Elvis accepted his calling to become a minister for the Lord. He pastored Free Hope Baptist Church, Bogota, TX, Macedonia Baptist Church, Broken Bow, Ok and Spring Hill Baptist Church, Douglasville, TX. He served the Lord until his death. He was employed by Phillips Industries for several years and one day he decided to step out on faith and start his own paint business where he painted several businesses in Clarksville and surrounding cities.
Elvis was known for his diligence as a servant of the Lord, a hard working business man, and a family man. He was known for his many comical sayings and phrases and always wanting to cook or barbecue.

He is proceeded in death by:
Glenn Dawson and Jessie Bell - Fathers
Marjorie Fletcher – Grandmother
Miles McGraw – Grandfather
Walter Hart – Special Uncle


He is survived by:
Mother - Sarah Dawson of Clarksville, Tx
Daughters – Rebecca Hall of Reno, Tx, Brittani Washington of Paris, Tx, Veronica (Marlon) Hill of Paris, Tx.
Sons- Danell (Lidia) Hall of San Antonio, Tx, James (Dallas) Hall of Dallas, Tx, Jeremy Hall of Clarksville, Christopher Hall of Paris, Tx and Michael Runnels of Clarksville, Tx.
Sisters – Perkosa Dawson of Clarksville, Tx, Louis Bell of Atlanta, Tx, Donetta Tyson – Douglasville, Tx, Patricia Hendrix of Magnolia, AR.
Brothers- Mark (Christina) Taylor of Paris, Tx, Steve Mcgraw of Dallas, Marlon (Angela) Dawson of Wilmer, Tx, Victor Hudson and Mentrall Hudson of Duncanville, Tx
19 Grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
