Funeral services for Mrs. Retha Mae Wright, of Dublin, will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at 11 AM, in the C. D. Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home. Reverend Steve Odum will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Lockett Cemetery in Eastman.

Mrs. Retha Mae Wright was born on July 24, 1935, in Eastman, Georgia, to the late Homer Lee Lockett and May Bell King. She worked for Buck’s Grill Restaurant for twenty years. She was called home on March 8, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arthur Wright, and two daughters, Leslie Thomas and Virginia Thomas, one brother, Moses Lockett, and by two grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters, Janice Henley, Drucilla Patterson and Jennifer Jones, and one son, Felix Thomas, and a son-in-law, Rick Jones, all of Dublin, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and seventeen great great-grandchildren, two special cousins, Annie Laura Thomas and Helen Ross, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
