Rebecca Dickson Pressley
YORK -- Rebecca Dickson Pressley, 87, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016, at Carolina Garden in York. .She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
A memorial service will be Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Union Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Long officiating. The family will receive friends from 3-4:00 PM at Union Baptist Church.
Rebecca was a daughter of the late George Baxtor Dickson and Ella Templeton Dickson, and the widow of Carl Lee Pressley. She was a member of Union baptist Church.
She is survived by her children; Teresa Pressley Welborn, Lucille Pressley Quarles, Marvin Lee Pressley (Helen Snowden Pressley), grandchildren; William Michael Whitesides (Kathy), Kevin Lee Whitesides (Amanda), Carl Derrick Pressley, James Todd Pressley (Shannon), Anthony Dwayne Morrison (Monica), great grandchildren; Graham Whitesides, Will Whitesides, Parker James Pressley, Toby Hurley Pressley, Grace Ann Pressley, Cameron Morrison, Alex Morrison, brothers; John T. Dickson and Herbert Dickson, and sisters; Beth D. Miller, Jeanie D. Marett, Jewell N. Bratton and brother-in-law CW Armstrong.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff and caregivers of Carolina Gardens for the care of their mother.
