Raymond Moore

Funeral services for Mr. Raymond Moore,, of East Dublin, will be held on Saturday, July 6, at 1:00 pm at the Valdosta Baptist Church, 1975 Highway 199 South in East Dublin. Reverend Daryl Moore will officiate. Interment will follow in the Valdosta Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Moore, who passed on June 30, was born on September 1, 1952, to Braxton Moore and the late Evelyn Lattimore Moore. He graduated from B.D. Perry High School in 1970. He married Janice Wadley on December 30, 1970. Mr. Moore retried from Southeast Paper Company after twenty-seven years of service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice W. Moore; a daughter, Giwana A. Moore; brother, Braxton Leon Moore; sister, Sandra Gail Moore; grandfather, Master James Moore; grandmother, Mary Scott Moore.

Mr. Moore is survived by his daughter, Sylvia Moore Ponder of Dublin; two granddaughters, Crishauri Ponder, Crishawna Ponder; one grandson, McKenzie Ramon Moore; father, Braxton Moore; four brothers, Virgil (Patricia) Moore, Fayetteville, Melvin (Brenda) Moore of East Dublin, Mitchell Moore of East Dublin, Russell Moore of Dublin; four sisters, Lois Moore-Robinson, Annie Ruth (Alfred) Moore, Brockton, Maryland, Joanne (Elijah) Harrell, Patricia (Michael) Carter; mother-in-law, Gussie Wadley of Wrightsville; three sisters-in-law, Tommie Linder of Dublin, Bonnie (Tommie) King, New Port News, Virginia, Carolyn Wadley of Wrightsville; one brother-in-law, Vernon Wadley of Wrightsville and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to include special devoted friends, Jacqueline Wright and Sylvester Prince.

The family will receive friends at 803-B Meadowood Apartments, 1015 Martin Luther King, Jr., Drive in Dublin.
