Funeral services for Miss Raven Symone Williams, of Dublin, will be held on Friday, May 8, 2020, at 12 PM at the graveside in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery on East Mary Street in Dublin. Reverend Eddie Hixon will deliver the eulogy.

Miss Raven Symone Williams was born on July 12, 2000, to Teresa Williams and Sylvester Davis. She graduated from Dublin High School in the Class of 2019. She was a dedicated member of Williams Chapel Baptist Church where she served faithfully as a youth choir member, youth usher, and greeter. She was currently attending Oconee Fall Line Technical College in Dublin where she was a Health Care Assistant major. She excelled in her studies and made the Dean’s List for Fall Semester 2019. Reared in the Katie Dudley Village neighborhood, she enjoyed helping others by supporting the Dublin Housing Authority’s programs and outreach services. She worked diligently as a Teen Assistant with DHA. Raven was currently working in the Resident Services Department as a Youth Programs Assistant where she was a homework aide and mentor to the younger children. She also worked part-time at Arby’s Restaurant. Her strong work ethics, positive attitude, and a desire to see others succeed are unsurpassed. Raven lived life by her favorite quote, “Failure never overtook me because my determination to succeed was strong enough.”

Raven was beautiful on the inside and outside. She had a loveable, gentle spirit, a heart of gold, and always had a big smile on her face. Raven was quite the “fashionista” and enjoyed wearing the latest fashions. She loved participating in and attending pageants. Though her earthly journey was short-lived, Raven enjoyed life to the fullest. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, taking pictures, and spoiling the apple of her eye, her niece Kyleigh Jackson. She departed this life and gained her wings on Friday, May 1, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Annette Davis.

She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories a loving mother, Teresa Williams; father, Sylvester Davis; maternal grandmother, Diane Williams; maternal grandfather, Joseph Richardson; paternal grandfather, Lester Davis, Sr of Lyons; sister, Diresa Williams; brother, Trayvon Williams; stepbrother, Sylvester Davis, Jr; stepsister, Kyandria Davis of Vidalia; uncles, Melvin Williams of Miami, FL, Wallace Williams (Shavares) of Phenix City, AL, Travis Williams of Colorado Springs, Co , Byron Williams, Tim (Deborah) Davis of Ellenwood, Lester Davis, Jr of Lyons, Chester McClendon of Atlanta; aunts, Celester Bacon of Vidalia, Tracy Sims of Vidalia, Geneva (Tom) Horn, and Taneka Rhymes of Statesboro; special cousin, Ja’Miracle Whipple; special & devoted friends, Chasity Taylor, Charity Ray, Tysheka Swint, and Rafael Rozier, and a host of cherished family and friends.
