Funeral services for Mr. Quentin Van Walker, of Atlanta, will be held on Saturday, December 7, at 2 PM at the Christ Deliverance Temple, 403 East Garner Street in Dublin. Reverend Elgin Dixon will officiate.

Mr. Quentin Walker, who passed on November 30, 2013, was born on October 5, 1964, to the late Mr. Randolph Walker and Mrs. Daisy Walker. He attended Dublin City Schools and then relocated to Miami, Florida. He was united in matrimony to Linda Lymon-Walker in 2000. He then proceeded to Atlanta to make it his home. His passions were cars and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Robert & Carrie Chambliss; brother, Ronald Walker; and his nephew, Robert Derrick Hazley II.

Mr. Walker is survived by his estranged wife, Linda Lymon-Walker; his daughters, Tia (Matthew) Brown of Stockbridge, Nakeisha Stanley of Vinings; four sons, Quentin Van Walker, Jr. and Reo Ellington of Dublin, Quentin Walker of College Park and Rasheen Lymon of Decatur; two grandchildren, Jazaria Walker of Sharpsburg and Derek Walker of Dublin. He also leaves a devoted companion, Kimberly Hicks of Lithonia; two brothers, Daryle (Valencia) Walker of Dublin, David Matthews of Roberta; two sisters, Rhonda Walker-Halzley of Dublin, Cheryl Walker-Hightower of Richmond Hill; a great aunt, Rosa Lee Hampton of Cullodenl; five nieces, Remisha Hazley, Britne Hightower, Zaria Walker all of Dublin and Asya Hightower of Richmond Hill; four nephews, Zachery Walker of Hapeville, Keaton and Zion Hightower of Richmond and Petari Walker of Dublin, and a host of devoted relatives and friends.

Viewing for Mr. Walker will be at the Dudley Funeral Home on Friday from 4-9 PM.

The family will receive friends at the home of his brother, Daryle Walker, 713 Linwood Avenue in Dublin.
