Funeral services for Ms. Peggy A. Payne, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at 11 AM in the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home, 617 East Jackson Street, Dublin. Elder Sandra Ford, of the Greater Saint James U.N.O.G, Charlotte, North Carolina, will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Ms. Payne was born on November 30, 1955, to the late Mr. Lemon Willis, Sr., and Ms. Ernestine Willis. She was a graduate of West Laurens High School and was retired from Michaels Deli. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Payne, and by her brothers, Lemon Willis, Jr., and Bobby Willis. Ms. Payne passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018.

She is survived by her mother, Ernestine Willis, two daughters, Joanna (Jeffrey) Burch and Kimberly Holmes, one son, Leroy Holmes, II, two brothers, Tommy Joe Willis and Timothy (Chandra) Willis, three grandchildren, Zhaina Rhyne, Daniel Holmes, and Jalisa Burch, one great-granddaughter, Bailey Robinson, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family is receiving friends at 766 Pointe West Loop in Dublin.
