Funeral services for Mrs. Pecolia Grady Johnson, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at 1 PM at the Church of God by Faith, 209 Hamilton Street in Dublin. Elder Dr. Charlie C. Smith will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson was born on January 29, 1955, to the late Wilson and Leona Haynes Grady of Tennille. She previously lived in Miami, Florida, where she married her husband, the late Otis Johnson. She was a resident of Dublin. Her home church was Dixon Grove of Sandersville, but she was an active member of Hamilton Street Church of God by Faith of Dublin until her death. Mrs. Johnson passed away on October 8, 2016.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lovie Mae Grady Hagans and Cora Mae Walker, and by one brother, Freddie Dean Grady.

Mrs. Johnson leaves behind her daughters, Centrea S. (Ronnie) Channel, Miracle Johnson (Rickey Phillips), Sherri C. (Tapuwa) Makaya, Krystal C. Johnson, special niece, Cynthia D. Hagan, godson, Alonzo Boston, special cousin, Marilyn Bell, ten grandchildren, Janica S. Johnson, Shatavia N. Johnson, Michael A. Nickens, Jai’Querria M. Johnson, Jai’Shaye R. Johnson, Domonic Dardy, Jr., Rachael T. Johnson, Rickey A. Phillips Jr., Braylon T. Makaya, Carter T. Johnson, sisters, Tommie Hagans, Isabella Grady, Louise Grady and Alisha (Franklin) King of Atlanta; brother-in-law, Tommie Hagans and a host of nieces and nephew.

The family is receiving friends at the home of her daughter, Sherri C. (Tapuwa) Makaya, 204 Helen Drive in Dublin and at Dudley Funeral Home on Friday, 6-7 PM.
