Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Cannida Hall, of Tampa, Florida, will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at 1 PM at the Union Hill Baptist Church, 2389 Deep Cut Road in Tennille, Georgia, with Elder Edward Allen officiating. Superintendent Robert Spencer will be the eulogist. Interment will follow in the Union Hill Church Cemetery.

Pauline Cannida Hall was the daughter of the late Bishop Cannida and Lillie Pearl Cannida, and Jimmie Hunter, Sr. She was educated in the Washington County School System and graduated from T. J. Elder High School in Sandersville as a member of the Class of 1956. She received a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education from Fort Valley State University and did further studies at Georgia College. She taught for over 35 years in Washington County, Laurens County and Dublin City School Systems. She worked as the Director of the Even Start Program at the Dublin Housing Authority. She was a member of the Georgia Association of Educators, National Association of Educators, Retired Teachers Association, and the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.

Mrs. Hall was a faithful and dedicated member of the Saint John Church of God in Christ in Tennille, Georgia, where she served in various positions under several pastors including Elder Edward Allen and Elder Robert Spencer. She was licensed as a Missionary for the Church of God in Christ under the late Bishop C. J. Hicks. Additionally, she served several years on the COGIC Executive Board for District Missionaries and as a leadership trainer for missionaries. Three years ago, she and her husband relocated to Tampa, Florida, to be near their sons, and they joined Bible Based Fellowship Church where Reverend Anthony White is pastor.

Mrs. Hall was a pillar of strength for her family and community. She was a woman of beauty, grace, excellence, and she walked in God’s love with integrity. When we think of love, we think of her. She showed empathy, compassion and respect to others. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, and travelling with her sisters.

Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her parents, the late Bishop Cannida, Lillie Pearl Cannida Hunter, and Jimmie Hunter, Sr., youngest son, Terrance Lamar Hall, and brother, Jimmie Hunter, Jr. She leaves to cherish her precious memories a devoted husband of 58 years, Thomas Hall, Sr., Tampa, Florida, daughter, Antionette (Ronald) Robinson, Dublin, Georgia, sons, Thomas (Janet) Hall and Brian Hall, Tampa Florida, grandchildren, Jomeika, Jessica, Ronald, Victoria, Jasmine, Theodore and Eileen, great-grandchildren, Valtwaun, Ja’Keil, Ja’Bryan, Taden, Braylen, Bryson, and Artemis, sisters, Beurena Wakefield, Quitman, Georgia, Dr. Effie (Andrew) Carr, Dublin, Georgia, Mary Archer, Sandersville, Georgia, Gladine (James) Spyies, Warner Robins, Georgia, Peggy (Martin) Grant, Charleston, South Carolina, and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 112 Whipoorwill Way in Dublin. Visitation will be at the Dudley Funeral Home on Friday, January 11, 2019, 6-7 PM.
