Paul Carroll

Funeral services for Mr. Paul Carroll of Dublin, will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2020, at 1 PM, at the Greater New Friendship Baptist Church, 3265 Georgia Highway 19, in Dublin. Bishop Harrison Jones, Sr., will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Hatoff Cemetery.

Mr. Paul Carroll was born on February 23, 1947, in Dublin, Georgia to the late Marshall and Odessa Rogers Carroll. He was the youngest of six brothers, Rogers, Carl, Theotis, Bobby, Cecil, and James, two sisters, Wanell and Marjorie, all whom preceded him in death. Paul departed this life on December 27, 2019.

Paul joined the Mount McRae Baptist Church at an early age where he was a dedicated member. He was also a dedicated member of the Greater New Friendship Baptist Church. He thoroughly enjoyed attending church. Paul enjoyed watching television, eating, and bossing everyone around. he loved playing his tambourine at the Warren Grove Holiness Church. He was a special uncle to his family both literally, and figuratively. What he could not do for himself, we did. We did'nt mind, because we had an obligation to take care of him. We know that he is resting in the bosom of Jesus.

Mr. Carroll leaves to cherish his fond memories, three nieces, Gail (Leo) Pomare, of Oceanside, California, Carolyn (Winston) O'Neal, and Rena Powell, one nephew, Lonnie Jones, all of Dublin, and a host of great nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
