Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia "Pat" Delores O’Neal Edmond, 53, of Dublin, will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, December 21, 2019, in the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home in Dublin. Reverend Andre Jones will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery. A repass will follow in the Verline P. Copenny Center, 205 West Mary Street in Dublin.

Mrs. Edmond was born on September 2, 1966, in Dublin, to Felmon O'Neal, Sr., and Willie Dell O'Neal. She attended Dublin High School in her formative years. Pat was a social butterfly who never met a stranger anywhere she went. She worked as a taxi driver for years and she drove for D’Mayco Transportation Services, which was well suited her personality as she was able to meet and engage new people. In February of 2014, she married her true love, Russell Edmond, a retired veteran, and they shared an undeniable, devoted, bond until he passed away on February 6, 2017.

Mrs. Edmond was an avid card player, with an affinity for the game of spades. You could assuredly find her at a card table, exchanging barbs and witticisms as she deftly played her hand. She consistently reflected an engaging and generous spirit. Well known as “Fat Pat”, she was loved throughout the community. She was a friend to many and was family to all. Mrs. Edmond died peacefully on December 14, 2019.

Mrs. Edmond was preceded in death by her eternal love, Russell Edmond, her father, Felmon O'Neal, Sr., her grandparents, Eva Coney, Leo and Adeline O'Neal, her siblings, Doris Kellam, Shirley O’Neal, Felmon O'Neal, Jr., her in-laws, Johnny Foster, Pete Edmond, Larry Edmond, Rudolph Edmond, Lenell Edmond and Robert Edmond; and by her stepson, Tyrus Reed.

Mrs Edmond is survived by her mother, Willie Dell O'Neal, of Dublin, her children, Brianda Walker (her caregiver), Kenico O'Neal and Zethan O'Neal, all of Dublin, her stepchildren, Chaundra Edmond of Eastman, J'nai (Brandon) Allen and Antwan Edmond, both of Kissimmee, Florida, her siblings, Azzie (Daryl) Rhodes of Olympia, Washington, Glenda Foster of Los Angeles, California, Gayla Marshall and Eva O'Neal (her caregiver), both of Dublin, and Janet Faye (Daryl) Brown ofPalatka, Florida, her adored grandchildren Zadarian, Razyen, Avia, ZyQuan and Rai'Elle, her beloved nieces and nephews, Dietrich (Kemi), Africa, Yashica (Shaheem), Akhnaton, Solomon, Drawaski, Chastity, Brandi, Janteria, Daryl, her aunt, Bessie Lou Doyle of Swainsboro, her in-laws, Betty (Rev. J.C.) Murray, Brenda (Tony) Hester, Nell (Betty) Issac, Bernice Edmond, Cynthia Edmond, her devoted friend, Patricia Swint and her godchild, Tysheika Swint, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
