Patricia Ann Morgan Calloway was born in Pastoria Jefferson Arkansas to Ervin Morgan Jr. and Isabel Wilkins Morgan on October 7, 1937. As a young child, Patricia and the family suffered a tragic loss when her mother (Isabel) and an older sibling (Lincoln) were struck by lightning while working in the fields. Moreover, God demonstrated His loving kindness to the family when he sent Victoria Myles to marry Ervin and Victoria became a mother to Patricia and her siblings. The family continued to faithfully attend Morris Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and Patricia accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age. Patricia worked and attended schools in Arkansas and in the 1950s, Patricia relocated to San Francisco, California. In San Francisco, Patricia met the love of her life, Jerald Dean Calloway Sr. Patricia and Jerald were married and to this union was born six children… Karen, Jerry Jr., Timothy, Bruce, Stacy, and Vincent. In San Francisco, Jerald worked for Municipal Railways as a bus driver and Patricia worked in the home. The family attended Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and Jerald served as a deacon. Patricia was given to hospitality and she was a great homemaker and one of the best cooks in the family. Patricia loved her family and had a wonderful sense of humor. Moreover, as the children got older, Patricia began to work outside the home for the San Francisco School District.
In the process of time, Jerald’s health began to fail, and he retired from Municipal Railways. Jerald’s family had property in Clarksville, Texas and Jerald and Patricia relocated to Texas. In 1996, Jerald died, and Patricia continued to live in Clarksville where she attended Haywood Missionary Baptist Church. Patricia loved her church family and she served on the Communion Board.
