Funeral services for Mr. Otis Wright, Jr., of Dublin will be held at 2 PM on Monday, April 18, 2016, in the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home. Reverend Henry Davis will officiate.

Mr. Wright, affectionately known as "Wanky", was born October 24, 1959, in Laurens County. He passed away on April 12, 2016. He was raised by his grandmother, Della Hines, who preceded him in death. He attended Dublin City Schools. He worked at Harlow Valley, Majestic Vault Company and Donald's Furniture until he became disabled.

He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Della Mincey Hines, grandparents, Henry (Carrie) Mitchell, Ella Retha Mincey Wright, and by his uncle, Sidney Wright.

Mr. Wright is survived by his father, Willie B. (Betty) Mitchell; mother, Ella Mitchell, both of Dublin; seven brothers, Danny (Nora) Mitchell, Willie (Shon) Mitchell of Warner Robins, Billy (Tanya) Mitchell of Wrightsville, Michael Mitchell, Carlos Pringle, both of Dublin, Elvis Cleveland of Savannah, Terry Mitchell of East Dublin; one sister, Cynthia (Charles) Thomas, Dublin; two step-sisters, Sarah Stanley, Jacquelyn Stanley, both of Dublin; two step-brothers, William (Brenda) Stanley and Tony (Leslie) Stanley of Dublin; eight aunts, four uncles; a devoted cousin, Rikita O'Neal of Dublin; a devoted friend, Donald Bostic, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at 801 Lilly Street and at 314 Vine Street in Dublin.
