Funeral services for Mrs. Ola Mae Hicks, 72, of Dublin, will be held Monday February 13 at 1 p.m. at Mitchell Grove Baptist Church, 78 Mitchell Grove Church Road in Wrightsville. Reverend Ricky B. Stanley will officiate. Interment will be at the church cemetery. Mrs. Hicks, who passed away Wednesday February 8, 2012, is the daughter of the late Ella Lee Clover and the late Willie Clover Sr. She was a member of Mitchell Grove Baptist Church where she was a missionary and member of the choir. She was a beautician, home daycare provider, nursing assistant, and housekeeper. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Clover Sr. and Ella Lee Wright Clover, husband Aaron Hicks, Jr., daughter Ella Mae Norris, brother Willie Roger (Barbara Jean) Clover, and sister Mary Nell (William) Powell. She is survived by her children, Gail (Herman) Carey of Barstow, CA, D’Etta (Willie) Jenkins and Cynthia Hicks (Wayne Jackson, fiancé), of Dublin brothers, George (Mary) Clover, Willie (Janice) Clover Jr., and Early Clover, Las Vegas, NV sisters, Alzada (the late Frank) Johnson, Maxine Clover-Garcia, and Bessie (John) McClendon two grandchildren Keldrick Carey and Breona Jenkins one great grandchild Keldrick Carey Jr. a dedicated niece, ReKelly Williams and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the home of her daughter D’Etta Jenkins at 805 Blarney Court from 5:00-9:00 p.m. daily and at the Dudley Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:00-6:00 PM.
