Norman Lindsey
Janazah services for Mr. Norman Lindsey, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at 2 PM at the Emory Thomas Auditorium, Riverview Park Drive, Dublin. Interment will follow at the Hillbridge Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Norman Lindsey was born on October 7, 1947, in Dublin, as the son of the late Henry Nathaniel “Wolf” Lindsey, and Irene Walker.
Mr. Lindsey was a native of Dublin, Georgia, and a 1968 graduate of Oconee High School. He was a faithful employee of Southeast Paper Mill until his disability. He was also a faithful and devoted member of the Nation of Islam until his death. He was peacefully called to rest on February 2, 2018.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lindsey was preceded in death by his stepmother, Para Lee Lindsey, his daughter, Tabetha Lindsey Gorni-Attipoe, and his brother Kenneth Lindsey Sr..
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife, Brenda Mason Lindsey; his children, Belinda (Venson) Flint, Bertil Lindsey, Veronica (Homer) Beck, Lasheeta Minyon Lindsey, Latricia Lynette Lindsey, Deadra McCray, and Tonya McCray; his siblings, James (Joann) Lindsey, Sr., Ronald (Bertha) Lindsey, Timothy Lindsey, Sr., Eddie (Deshawn) Lindsey,Sr. Jeffery Lindsey, Anthony (De’Andrea) King, Patricia Lindsey; and a devoted sister-in-law, Jacqueline Wilcher, all of Dublin, 17 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family is receiving friends at 303 Hillside Drive, Dublin, and also at 108 Wheeler Street, Dublin.
