Navara Roberts

Mrs. Navara Roberts 93 years old of Bagwell, Texas went to be with her heavenly father, February 12, 2013 in her residence. Funeral service will be Monday, February 18, 2013 at 12:00 NOON. at St. James Baptist Church , Clarksville, Texas with Rev. Ozell Robert, officiating. Interment will be in Siloam Cemetery, Bagwell, Texas.

On June 9, 1919, M.A. and Lizzie Brown were blessed with the birth of a beautiful baby girl, whom they named Navara Roberts
Navara received here education from Davenport High School where she graduated.

She united with the Siloam Baptist Church under Rev. Steward and later Rev. Beasley. Later she united with Sulphur Springs Baptist Church under Rev. Elie Roberts.

Navara loved her church where she was a deaconess, soloist and served wherever she was needed. She was a homemaker and enjoyed rearing her children and spending time with her grandchildren.

At a special time in her life, she met and married the late Ozell Roberts Sr. Navara was the best mom to two beautiful boys, Elie and Ozell.

Navara loved All and had a great impact on many. She was the “Best Granny/Grandma.” Loved “Wheel of Fortune”, MSNBC, NBA Baskeball, Baseball and keeping up with the news.

She is survived by her sons: Rev. Elie Roberts (Emma) of Bagwell, Texas and Rev. Ozell Roberts Jr. (Rhonda) of Paris, Texas. Her brother: Cedric Patt and
sisters: Dora Lee, Gail and Glory.
Seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and twelve great great grands. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
