Nancy Mchugh

Ann Moore “Nancy” McHugh, 73 of Lake Wylie, SC passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Lake Wylie Assisted Living.
Born in Long Island, NY, she was a daughter of the late James Augustus Moore and Ann Saunders Moore. She attended both St. Dominic Catholic Church in Oyster Bay, NY and All Saints Lake Wylie Catholic Church in Lake Wylie, SC.
Nancy's professional career included several interesting executive assistant positions in Manhattan.
In her retirement, she volunteered at her local library and was a Faith Formation teaching assistant in elementary classes. Nancy loved traveling, sunny days on the beach, a good joke and the music of Elvis Presley. She was proud of her Irish heritage and her family's history in Oyster Bay, NY.
She is survived by her sisters; Mary Healy, Bernadette Moore, Joan Blake (Larry), and Tina Moore, brother, James Augustus “Jimmy” Moore (Cheryl), and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held at the All Saints Catholic Church in Lake Wylie, SC at 1 PM on Wednesday, February 13, 2019.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
