Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Marie Jones, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019, at 11 AM at the Rocky Creek Baptist Church, 2130 Highway 338 in Dexter. Pastor Charlie Robinson will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Jones was born on April 5, 1950, to the late Johnny and Mildred Smith in Cadwell, Georgia. She was the seventh of sixteen children. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Jones, four sisters and by three brothers-in-law. She graduated from Mary Fleming High School in 1968. As a child, she attended the Rocky Creek Baptist Church alongside her family. She passed away on October 22, 2019.

Mrs. Jones is survived by five children, Mark Eugene Jones, Nichole Symone Jones, Laurence Jones, Renee Jones, James Anthony Jones, five grandchildren, Darin William Harrison "DJ", Ciara Nichelle Harrison "Cici", N'Dea Symone Harrison "ND", Jasmine Marie Johnson "Jazz", Nena Nevah Williams "Nenaboots". She is also survived by one great grandchild, Kali Anderson "Baby K" , siblings, Levata Wilcox, Mary Smith, Johnny "Calvin" (Army Nell) Snell, Jr., Barbara Wray, Sandra Smith, Beverly (Curtis) Pauldo, Donn Smith, David Smith, Danny Verleen Smith, Linda (Charlie) Dassie, Alton Smith, Thomas (Debbie) Smith and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will be receiving friends at 2979 Iris Lowery Loop in Cadwell, and on Thursday, October 31, 2019, 6-7 PM, at the Dudley Funeral Home.
