Funeral services for Mr. Michael Anthony Mackey, of Dublin, will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at the Pinehill Christian Church, 2908 Fountain Road in Cadwell. Pastor Belinda Faye Mitchell will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Michael Anthony Mackey was born on December 17, 1970, to Sally Mae Mackey and the late Hamp Jurell Mackey. At an early age, he joined Starlight Baptist Church and he received his education at Wheeler County High School. He was an employee of Evans Disposal Company, Mr. Mackey departed this life on June 2, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy Lee Mackey, Sally Lou Mackey, Bobby Lee King, and Cathlee P. Austin.

Mr. Mackey leaves to cherish his memories five children, Kaylin Edwards, Anthony Harvey, Mikia Edwards, Michael Junior Edwards, Mikivous Edwards, all of Alamo, three brothers, Mitchell J. (Tonya) Mackey of Vidalia, Marion Mackey of Alamo, Marvin B. Mackey of Dublin, five grandchildren, a devoted aunt, Rosa King, and a devoted uncle, Leon King, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 301 East Mary Street in Dublin and on Friday, June 8, 6-7 PM at the Dudley Funeral Home.
