Michael Berryman

On March 30th, 2022 Michael F. Berryman passed away at the age of 63. He was in the care of the Lake City Veterans Medical Center Hospice in Lake City, Florida. Michael was battling a long illness and passed away peacefully. Michael was born on October 6th, 1958 to MaryAnn (Cronin) Dalbeck and Robert Berryman in Augusta, Maine. Michael grew up in central Maine. In 1980 he started a family with his then wife Christine, and Christopher Michael Berryman was born. In 1982 Joseph A. Berryman was brought into the family. This would follow with three more children. Michelle A. Berryman in 1983, Andrew J. Berryman in 1985 and Cecilia A. Berryman in 1992. Michael served a number of years to his country in the Air Force while continuing to help raise a family full of children. Michael would continue his life after the Air Force working as an IT specialist through various jobs while still residing in Maine. In 2016 Michael moved to Louisiana with the intent on helping his daughter Cecilia and his granddaughter Adara Hallum. He would continue to live the last six years of his life giving his granddaughter the love and care only one could imagine. He lived his last years doing things that he loved for as long as he could, whether it be making mead, cooking or planting. His family finds solace in knowing that he is no longer suffering. Michael spent most of his lifetime proving one thing, he is a fighter. Michael fought until his very last breath and his family will continue to fight in his legacy. Michael is survived by his mother, MaryAnn Dalbeck, his brother, Brian Berryman, his sisters, Marcia (Berryman) Beach, Stephanie (Berryman) DePaula, Theresa Berryman-Childs, Jennifer Berryman, Rachael Berryman, Leslie Berryman and Debbie. He is survived by his five children, Christopher, Joseph, Michelle, Andrew and is wife Stephanie, and Cecilia as well as 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father as well as his grandchild, Isiah Boivin. Memorial service is scheduled for May 15th, 2022 at the Maple Hill Farm in Hallowell, ME with time TBD. Burial of ashes will be graveside at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Mt. Vernon Ave in Augusta, ME at 12 P.M. on May 17th, 2022. Here's a toast to you. May your soul and legacy live on.
