Funeral Services for Mr. Melvin Lee Mills, 70, of Dublin, will be held on Thursday, February 16, at 1pm at Rose Hill Baptist Church, Hwy 80 West in Dudley. Reverend Calton Godfrey will be officiating. Interment will be in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Mills, who passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2012 is the son of the late Mr. Willie Dan and Mrs. Ella Mae Mills. He was a member of the Rose Hill Baptist Church in Dudley. Mr. Mills leaves to cherish his memory, a wife, Louise T. Mills, four stepchildren, one daughter, Lucy Dupree, two sons, Fredrick Stanley of Columbia, SC, Preston(Mary)Floyd of Dublin, two sisters, Odessa Brantley and Pearlie Mae Copeland of Philadelphia, PA, granddaughter, Teresa Floyd of Dublin, one niece, Stephanie Stanley, three nephews, Larry Stanley of Marietta, Marvin Stanley of Cartersville, and Curtis Stanley of Powder Springs, a devoted cousin, Francis Moore, and a devoted sister-in-law, Betty J. Wells, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be at the home of his granddaughter, Teresa Floyd, 907B Druid St. Mr. Mills will be placed in the church one hour prior to service.
