I am very saddened by Luke''s passing away. Luke was the first one in the family to make me feel comfortable, and believe me that took some doing with me meeting such a large family all at once. He was still a kid in so many ways even had me worried about what he said, and it appeared like a snakebite on his hand. He refused to show his mother or let her know about it. Just like it was yesterday I remember him watching Lee while I had to go to work, and he took Lee with him to town in his first car. A lady ran a stop sign and hit them. Luke threw his arm back over Lee to keep him safe and Lee hit the rear view mirror, leaving a large goose egg on his little forehead. when I got home Luke was scared to death that I was going to be mad but it was not his fault and then the way Lee would say "Luke tore it up" every time he saw the front of the car. I loved the way he was there for and with all the kids growing up. Why he even helped Lee to get his first strange pet, a black widow spider. Luke was a sweetheart that will be missed greatly, but he left us all with so many great memories to hold dear till we see him again. Rest in peace Luke and tell everyone hi for all of us.
