YORK – Mazelle Black Rikard, 91, of 1768 York Highway, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014 at her home in York.
A graveside service will be held at 3:30 PM on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Laurelwood Cemetery in Rock Hill with the Rev. Christine Stoxen officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 17, 2014 from 2 – 3 PM at Bratton Funeral Home in York.
Mazelle was a daughter of the late Charles Sidney Black and Myrtle Hipp Black. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Rock Hill and was the widow of Earl Wicker Rikard.
She is survived by son W. Berry Rikard of Salem, SC, daughter Shelley R. Larkin of Rock Hill, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mazelle was preceded in death by son Earl R. Rikard, three brothers, and two sisters.
