Memorial services for Mrs. Maudia Lee Hunt will be held on Saturday February 25, 2012, at 12:00 PM at the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home. Reverend Henry Davis will officiate. Mrs. Maudia McGirt Peterson Hunt was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Willie McGirt, brother Joseph McGirt, two spouses, Mr. Sam Peterson, and Mr. Glendon Hunt two children, Jerome Peterson, and Tubrina Hunt. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Mellonea McGirt, five children, Maria Peterson (Willie Earl Deckle) Ft. Pierce, FL Angela Peterson, Augusta, Regenia (James) Parlor, Dublin, Benjamin (Keena) Hunt, Fayetteville, LaWanda Hunt, N. Chesterfield, VA, six grandchildren, Christopher Hunt, Demetrius Hunt, Patrick Holland, Joycelyn Holland all of Dublin, and Rachel Redding, N. Chesterfield, VA. six sisters, Cora L. McGirt, Carrie Almeida, Bessie (Otha) Hall, Mattie (Melvin) Holmes, Ruthie (Herschel) ONeal, and Genial McGirt, five brothers, Willie (Algerine) McGirt, Jessie (Katrina) McGirt, Ronnie McGirt, Larry (Angela) McGirt, Patrick (Jacqueline) McGirt, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
