Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Mae Cason of East Dublin, will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at 1 PM at the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home. Reverend Marque Harden will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Cason, who passed away on July 14, 2017, was born on February 5, 1927, in Blackshear, Georgia, to the late Mary Elizabeth and Madison Young. She joined the Saint Galilee Baptist Church at an early age. She was married to the late Frank Cason. She was also preceded in death by two children, John Henry Cason, and Nancy Mae Cason, five sisters, Ella Mae Cato, Ruthie Cato,, Leslie Ware, Evelyn Cato, and Linda Mae Wiley, three brothers, John B. Young, Elijah Young, ,Roman Young, one grandson, Jerome Cason.

Mrs. Cason leaves to cherish her memories six children, Frank (Genie) Cason, of Dublin, Geraldine (Albert) Matthews, and James Cason of Atlanta, Charlie Cason of Dublin, Annie (Dale) Dudley and Mary Cason of Dublin, one brother, Madison (Roberta) Young, eleven grandchildren, Deon Cason , Janice Gamble of Texas, Tajuana Cason, LaKendrick Roseberry, April Brown, Evette Gamble, LeKeshia (Lamont) Wilson, Brian Yates, all of Dublin, Michelle (Cedric) Sheppard of Atlanta,Chudine Cason of Washington, D. C., and Sandra (Tony) Hawkins of Washington D. C., and Kevin Cason of Daytona Beach, Florida, two devoted grandchildren, Lakendria (Jarvis) Cason, and Jessica (Leroy ) Coates, twenty five great grandchildren, eighteen great great grandchildren, three devoted friends, Tommy O'Neal, Mary Yates, and Yvonne Castillo, and host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 701 Jordan Street, East Dublin
