Matthew “Matt” Neil Carpenter, 31, of York, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018.
A memorial service will be held at Bratton Funeral Home on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at 3 PM with the Rev. Matt Burrell officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM at Bratton Funeral Home on Sunday.
Born in York, SC, Matt was the son of Michael N. Carpenter and Diane Neil Carpenter. He graduated from York Comprehensive High School in 2005 and worked with his cousin, Blake Perkins, as an electrician.
In addition to his parents, Matt is survived by his sister, Olivia Mitchell, her husband, JD and their son, Raylan, grandmother, Willie Mae Neil, aunts, Linda Harrell (Jerry), Pam Perkins (William), cousins, Kristin Harrell and Blake Perkins, and numerous devoted friends, CAETNBBRR.
