Funeral Service for 79 year old, Mrs. Mary Louise Tavie of Sherman, TX formerly of Clarksville, TX who went to be with her Lord October 13, 2017 at Wilson N Jones Regional Medical Center, Sherman, Texas, will be Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Zion Traveler Baptist Church, 501 S. Walnut, Clarksville, TX with Rev. P.A. Porchia, pastor and officiating. Interment: Hebron Cemetery, Clarksville, TX

Mary Louise Parrish Tavie was born, August 5, 1938 to the late Edgar Parrish and Delilah Austin Parrish in Clarksville, Texas. She united with Zion Traveler Baptist Church where she served as a dedicated member of the senior choir and missionary department until her illness. She married James Tavie and to this union one son was born, Charles. She was employed at Red River General Hospital in Clarksville, TX. She truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Walter, Russell, Alvin and Jessie.
