Funeral services for Ms. Mary Ann Eubanks, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held at 4 PM on Sunday, July 29, 2018, at the United Christian Disciple Church,1004 East Mary Street in Dublin. Pastor William Harris will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mary Ann Eubanks was born April 22, 1922, in Laurens County, Georgia, and was called home on July 21, 2018. Ms. Eubanks was one of five children born to the late Wiley and Clara Eubanks. Ms. Eubanks attended Washington Street School in Dublin, Ga. She entered the workforce where she worked as a seamstress, hotel housekeeper, and as a cook. Although she never had children of her own, she served as mother figure for many in her natural family, church family, and community. Ms. Eubanks was loved by all who knew her and will be sorely missed by everyone. She was always happy to have company and enjoyed carrying on conversations with her visitors.

At the tender age of ninety-six years, she still had her mischievous sense of humor, often laughing at her own jokes. Thankfully, Ms. Eubanks remained in good health and was self-sufficient until her passing, continuing to live alone in her own apartment and manage her own day to day business. As everyone who knew her was aware, it was very important to her to be independent and never be a burden to her family or friends.

Ms. Eubanks was preceded in death by her parents and by her siblings; Henry, Bunyon, Wiley Jr., and Joe Eubanks. She leaves to cherish her memory devoted nephews, Carl (Josephine) Howard, Robert Edmond Sr., and Eric Edmond, all of Dublin, great-nephews Carlton Howard Jr. of Athens, Joey Howard, of Atlanta, Robert Edmond Jr., and Keith Edmond, and great-nieces Deidra Howard, Shenita Howard, Felicia (Johnny) Washington, Catina (Jeffrey) Puckett, and Stephanie Edmond Stanley, all of Dublin. She is also survived by devoted friends, Cedric Darden and Linda Porter, both of Dublin, along with other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, 3:15-4 PM, at the United Christian Disciple Church
