Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Jean Coley Axson, of Dublin, will be held on Monday, December 7, 2015, at 11 AM at the Jordan Grove Christian Center, 1330 US Highway 319 North in East Dublin. Reverend Prenis Edmond will officiate. Interment will follow in the Zion Hill AME Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Axson was born on September 1, 1952, in Laurens County, Georgia, to the late Martha Coley Davis and Julius Davis. Mrs. Axson graduated from the B. D. Perry School where she played on the girls Varsity Basketball Team. She worked for many years at Esquire Wigs & Fashions as a retail specialist, and was a member of the Zion Hill AME Church. She was called to eternal rest on December 1, 2015.

Mrs Axson leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Wanzy Axson, her son, Travoski Coley, three daughters, LaTonya Coley, LaWanza Axson, and Sharnese Axson, brothers, Joseph Coley, Bruce Davis, Jessie T. Coley, and Ike Coley, sisters; Erma Coley, Charlie Mae Middlebrooks, Viola Davis, and Lois Stanley, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 117 North Elm Street in East Dublin.
