Mark Hill
Funeral services for Mr. Mark Christopher Hill, Sr., of Dublin, will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2015, at 3 PM at the Living Hope Word Church, 101 Pearl Avenue in East Dublin. Apostle Vertis Rozier will officiate. Interment will follow in the Higgsville Baptist Church Cemetery, 18 Gallimore Mill Road, Jeffersonville.
Mr. Hill was born on December 9, 1968, to Mary J. Durham and the late Grover Burney. He died on February 6, 2015. He was educated and graduated from Atlantic High School in Atlantic City, NJ. He was CEO of Unique Fitness and was employed as a master personal fitness trainer and a boxing Instructor at Bojo's Fitness Center in Dublin. Dedicated to his life works, he received special honors from the American Aerobic Association in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and his personal trainer certification from Phase II-Master Personal Fitness Trainer Company. Mark gave his heart to the Lord at a very young age at Westminster Baptist Church in Atlantic City, New Jersey, under Bishop Luke Witherspoon. Over the years he used his talents as a drummer to bless all churches where he was a member or guest. His love for music has been handed down to his son, Mark Jr., and his athletic abilities have been handed down to his daughter, Leandra. Mark touched the lives of many people and especially the lives of children with his dedication to promoting healthy living. Mark maintained his trademark sense of humor, red hat, along with his Timberlands, until his soul left this earth.
Mr. Hill leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted children, Mark Christopher Hill, Jr., of Atlantic City, New Jersey, and Leandra (LeLe) Renee Dennis of Northfield, New Jersey, his loving mother, Mary J. Durham of Dublin, grandchildren, Josiah Eli Hill and Maleah Wanda Hill of Atlantic City, New Jersey, stepfather, James Burns of Macon, siblings, Ricky Hill, Kenneth (Stephanie) Hill, Jeffery (Sherita) Hill, Eugene Rozier, Jr., all of Atlantic City, New Jersey, William (Geneva) Hill of Atlanta, Tracy Rozier, of Dublin, uncles, Thomas Holston, Jr., and Denson Robinson of Jeffersonville, aunts, Brenda Williams of Macon, Sherrel Robinson of Atlantic City, New Jersey, stepsisters, Christy Hughes, Patricia Fitzpatrick of Jeffersonville, and Tonya Harris of Macon, stepbrothers, Eric Anderson of Macon, Johnny Stanley of Miami, Florida, David Butler of Jeffersonville, and Terrence Burney of Warner Robins, special cousins, Sallie Carswell of Dublin, Pastor Delois Jones of Jeffersonville, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and co-workers along with his special friends, Jose and Alyssa Martinez, and the Bojo's Fitness Center family.
